Proximity to Bozeman and Yellowstone
Livingston is a bustling community just 24 miles East of Bozeman. Nestled at the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and in the Absaroka Mountains, this windy city will blow into your heart and invite you HōM(e)!
With just under 8,000 residents, Livingston's community is similar in size to Whitefish, Montana and there is lots to do here! The iconic downtown was built around a railroad lifestyle, with the Northern Pacific Railroad delivering workers to Yellowstone National Park via the Yellowstone Spur Route, and now boasts amazing fine dining and nightlife!
Downtown is Happening!
Local Events Drive Livingston's Economy. The thriving arts community hosts art walks all summer long with street food, live music, and featured local galleries. Not to be missed, Livingston's Farmer's Market brings the valley residents to town on Wednesday evenings (during the summer), and there is a three-day craft fair in The Depot park every summer too!
Fine dining and great local dives!
If your tummy directs your travel decisions, Livingston is an amazing stop! Whether you are craving fine dining or bar food, there is a restaurant in this little town to exceed your expectations. Just a short drive east of Bozeman, we love The Stockman for the bison burgers and prime rib, Glenn's Pub (burgers to die for), and Neptunes Taphouse and Brewery... for the sushi; I know you didn't see that one coming! The original Montana's Rib and Chop House, now a regional chain, opened in the Livingston Train Repair Shop, and it has held strong as a great stop, particularly if you have a large group.
Railroad Influeced Design
ommunity were built as railroad housing, and the unassuming Victorians have been lovingly maintained throughout the decades. If quirky is your style, Livingston downtown is for you! If you are seeking a more updated property, there are newer developments surrounding the downtown and premier housing in the Paradise Valley. With iconic views, the meandering drive down the Paradise Valley is sure take your breath away.
