I met with clients earlier this week that had previously been working with unnamed agent. They are first time buyers looking to enter this competitive market. The previous agent had taken them out to look at homes, without first having a buyer consultation. They were seriously considering a property in an outlying area, but they didn’t feel good about their showing experience, so they hadn’t moved forward with an offer. Thank goodness!


They shared their previous experience with past-clients of mine,  and were promptly referred to me; I am so glad we had the chance to connect. When we met I discovered they had been viewing homes in advance of loan approval. and when they filled out their application, they were still a few weeks from having an established credit score. What does that mean? Through no fault of their own, they were viewing homes before they were ready to buy. Had they presented an offer, they could have unintentionally prevented a Seller from procuring a qualified Buyer and caused themselves heartache through a stressful process that could have been perceived as a "missed opportunity."


We worked through the exclusive HōM Buyer’s Guide together in our first meeting. By conducting their energy, excitement, and momentum, through education on the home buying process and the schedule of tasks, we were able to get them positioned to be ready to strike when the perfect home does appear for them. They are clear on what they are working to buy, and what they need to do to make that happen.
